Co-founder of the Raikes Foundation, Jeff works to eliminate race as a predictor of life outcomes through education equity, youth homelessness prevention, and philanthropic innovation. He previously served as CEO of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and President of Microsoft’s Business Division. Jeff is a Seattle Mariners co-owner and board member, and serves on the boards of Costco Wholesale, Green Diamond Resource Company, Hudl, and the Raikes School at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He is also Chair Emeritus of the Stanford University Board of Trustees.
